Our Mission Statement

St Patrick’s Church is a group of ordinary people bound together by faith and love of Jesus, coming alongside others where they are. We include everyone.

We are confident in being loved by God, our Father. He especially loves it when we love one another as we love ourselves. We are a grace-filled community in which people can find relationship, healing, faith, hope and love. Accountability, responsibility and transparency between all are important to us.

Here everybody contributes something. We have talents given by God’s Holy Spirit and use them. We heal as Jesus healed. We encounter God spiritually through people’s gifts.

We take Jesus into the community. We are a missionary movement to love and reach the lost, care for the poor and bring justice to homes, our neighbourhood and workplaces. We ‘walk on water’ by getting ‘out of the boat’. We are growing in numbers, maturity and public influence.

We like passionate, modern, vibrant, informal and moving worship. We celebrate God’s awesome power, supreme splendour and sovereign work, while at the same time experiencing His intimate presence - encountering Him in heartfelt worship.

All we believe, teach and do comes from the Bible, the written word of God. We also listen and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to us individually and corporately.

We believe Sunday to be a special day and therefore we respect it.
